The Latin Music Institute
The Latin Music Institute has been dedicated to helping students discover and develop their musical talents since 1997. Cultivating and nurturing that talent in each of our students has been the focus of our experienced teachers.
The programs at The Latin Music Institute inspire excitement and creativity through the teaching of many styles of music in an environment suited for all skills levels through private or group lessons.

Director/President

Gabriel DeDavid - Gabriel completed his bachelors degree in Music Education at the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico and his Masters in Music Education at Florida State University. He has been a professional musician for 23 years and has been teaching music in public and private schools in Puerto Rico and Orlando for the past 17 years. Gabriel founded several Latin jazz groups and has played with many local jazz ensembles. He appeared at the Heineken Jazz Nights with his own group Mosaico and is the co-founder of Latin Attitude, a Latin Jazz band that recorded one of Gabriel's compositions called "Mi Bomba". He is the author of instructional method books.
